102 Nigerians who had been stranded in Libya have returned.

The National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria has received 102 distressed Nigerians, the majority of whom are young women, from Tripoli, Libya.

102 Nigerians who had been stranded in Libya have returned.

They returned to the country on a chartered flight aboard an Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800 with the registration number 5A-DMG.
 On Wednesday, the agency announced their arrival in a statement on its website.
According to the statement, the NEMA Director General met the returnees at Murtala Muhammad International Airport's Cargo Wing in Ikeja.

"There were 93 female adults, 3 female children, 3 female infants, 1 adult male, 1 male child, and 1 male infant among the returnees."

"NEMA was joined by various organizations, including the Nigeria Immigration Service, Refugee Commission, NAPTIP, FAAN, Police, and DSS," according to the statement.
