Arsenal has already lined up a replacement for Granit Xhaka as they seek the 'ideal' £34 million midfielder.
ARSENAL are reportedly planning a move for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu to replace Granit Xhaka. Mikel Arteta's men had a fantastic Premier League season, despite blowing a big lead to lose the title to Manchester City.
Many of their outstanding performances have come with the midfield duo of Xhaka and Thomas Partey at the helm.
Jorginho was brought in from Chelsea in January to provide some much-needed backup.
But, as the Gunners prepare to do business in the summer transfer window, Xhaka, who has played over 200 games for the club in a seven-year stint, is likely to leave.
The 30-year-old Swiss skipper is in the final year of his contract with the Emirates.
And he's been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.
Arsenal are already looking for a successor for Xhaka, having learned of his impending departure.
The North London club is interested in Feyenoord midfielder Kokcu, according to Record.
In 45 games this season, he has 12 goals and five assists.
Benfica have long been fans of the Turkish international.
However, there are now obstacles that could prevent a deal with the Portuguese side from being reached, especially the £34 million price tag.
Furthermore, Benfica is concerned about competition from other clubs.
Liverpool and Sevilla are reportedly interested in the midfielder, who helped Feyenoord win the Eredivisie this season.
