Because of Ramadan, I close my nightclub, says Shina Peller
Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives and the creator of the well-known Quilox nightclub on Victoria Island in Lagos State, claims that Ramadan is a time of rebirth and that this is why the venue, which will mark its tenth anniversary later this week, is always closed for a full month during that time of the year. "Chaos, they say, precedes order," remarked Peller, who speaks for the Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola (Oyo State) Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber. Club Quilox will resume operations on April 28, 2023, after its yearly hiatus.
A pause of more than one month is typically used to renovate the area, discard outdated practices, and adopt new ones in order to improve the environment's guest experience and service.
Starting a project and seeing it through to completion is a joy. Average becomes excellent when consistency is there. This year, we will also mark our tenth anniversary. Ten seasons is a significant milestone.
"Watching my 'baby' reach this milestone is a dream come true for me," the author writes.
Patoranking, DJ Hazan, DJ FunkyBee, DJ Zeal, DJ Haykay, and comedian Ushbebe will all be performing during the club's ten-year anniversary celebration.
