CLASH OF ENEMIES: Prior to the Europa League match against Betis, Portugal friend William Carvalho wrote Man United star Bruno Fernandes a chilling threat.
MANCHESTER UNITED star Bruno Fernandes has been sent a warning by Portugal team-mate William Carvalho.
While they often support the same team, tonight when Man United plays Real Betis, they will be wearing different jerseys.
Carvalho was seen on the Spanish outfits Twitter page strolling down a hallway and then gesturing at the camera.
Then Carvalho said: "Bruno I can see you."
In the Europa League Last 16 match against Fernandes and company, the 30-year-old is anticipated to get the start.
Prior to reaching the Carabao Cup final, United defeated Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate in the Europa League play-off.
The club's high spirits, however, were dashed after a record-breaking 7-0 loss to Liverpool, which Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini confessed he was "not sad" about.
United will be eager to resume its winning ways and has been encouraged by Anthony Martial's return to training.
Before the game, the Frenchman returned to practice, and Erik ten Hag made hints about his involvement.
He stated: "We'll see now that Anthony Martial is back on the field. The remainder of the team is available, and we are prepared to play."
Star player Nabil Fekir of Betis has been ruled out of the contest because of an ACL tear.
Amazingly, Betis defeated the Red Devils earlier this year in a World Cup friendly, winning 1-0.
