Federal Capital Territory High Court grants Emefiele bail
The troubled former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been granted bail by the Federal Capital Territory High Court.
He must be brought in court as required, and the court ordered that he be released to his attorney.
He was also instructed to deposit all of his travel documentation with the court's registrar by Justice Adeniyi, the presiding judge.
He believed that an extended period of detention ought to come to an end.
