JUST IN: EFCC's lawsuit against Okorocha is rejected by the court
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's lawsuit against Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, was dismissed by the Federal Capital Territory's High Court.
On the grounds that the anti-graft organization had brought a comparable allegation against the defendant before the Federal high court, Justice Yusuf Halilu, who delivered the verdict, referred to the EFCC's accusations of fraud and abuse of authority against Okorocha as an abuse of the legal process.
