JUST IN: Gunmen attack another police station, leaving three people dead in Anambra
In Anambra State's Idemili North Local Government Area, a big group of armed men have once more stormed the Awada police station, which is close to Obosi.
Gunmen in their large number have again attacked the Awada police station, near Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.It was gathered that the hoodlums invaded the police facility at about 2:18am on Monday and engaged the police operatives on duty where about three of the hoodlums were said to have been shot dead.This is coming less than 24 hours after the attack on the 3-3 police divisional office in Oyi LGA, where about six people were killed.A source in the area said the hoodlums started shooting sporadically as they approached the police station,.adding that the gunshots lasted for several hours.
