JUST IN: The Niger junta removes the curfew days after the coup
The organizers of the July 26 coup in Niger have removed the curfew they imposed after seizing control and ousting the elected leader, sending the nation into chaos.
“The curfew imposed since July 26, 2023, is officially lifted as of today,” according to a decree dated late Thursday and signed by coup leader Abdourahamane Tiani.
