President Bola Tinubu has been congratulated on becoming the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States by Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu characterized the event that occurred at the 63rd Ordinary Session on Sunday in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, as a significant affirmation of Nigeria's leadership in the West African subregion and the African continent in a statement dated July 10, 2023 and signed by Tinubu's Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile.
The faith that President Tinubu's colleagues placed in him to lead the significant coalition, he continued, will show up in effective cooperation and workable solutions to the problems of transnational security, sustainable development, and economic growth.
