On Thursday, September 7, agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency found Asana Leke, 39, along the Mokwa-Jebba Road with no less than 399 fragments of improvised explosive devices. The artefacts and the suspect were then given to the military authorities in Niger State. The suspect said that the explosives were given to him in a park in Ibadan, Oyo State, to be conveyed to someone in Kaduna.
