In light of Jahm Najafi's interest in purchasing Tottenham, owner Joe Lewis is OPEN to selling the club but will expect more than £4 billion.

Jahm Najafi, an American-Iranian billionaire, is leading a consortium that is putting together a £3.1 billion offer.
It appears that a formal approach will be made to Joe Lewis, the owner of Spurs, and Daniel Levy, the chairman, in the upcoming weeks.

The billionaire Lewis, who is willing to sell, valued the club at less than that amount, it is understood.

Najafi is the chairman of MSP Sports Capital, which has lately expressed interest in investing in Everton. He is a minority shareholder in the NBA team Phoenix Suns and vice-chairman of McLaren Racing.

Given their London location and cutting-edge stadium, which this year will host performances by Beyonce, major boxing matches, and NFL games, Spurs are an alluring offer.

A squad led by Harry Kane that competes in the Champions League hasn't received a title since 2008.

Following the Covid epidemic, fans returned, increasing revenue for Tottenham by £83 million to £444 million for the fiscal year ending June 2022.

The Najafi-led offer is anticipated to value Spurs at about £2.5 billion, plus the club's debts of about £610 million.

MSP and its partners would provide 70% of the bid, and sponsors from the Middle East, especially Abu Dhabi, would contribute the final 30%.
Lewis' investing business ENIC owns Tottenham.

In 2000, the Bahamas-based organization paid Lord Alan Sugar £21.9 million for a 26% stake in the club; since then, they have increased their ownership to a current rate of 85.5%.

Following takeovers at Chelsea and Bournemouth last year, Americans now own ten Premier League clubs.
