The long-standing friendship between the two nations and peoples, according to Biden, is something his administration is dedicated to.

On the official White House website, a statement with this information was posted.

The Tinubu administration's efforts to implement economic changes in Nigeria were praised by Biden.
"President Biden welcomed the Tinubu Administration's steps to reform Nigeria's economy and thanked President Tinubu for his strong leadership as the chair of the Economic Community of West African States to defend and preserve democracy and the rule of law in Niger and the larger region," reads the statement.

According to the statement, "Nigeria's invitation to the G20 Summit is a recognition of Nigeria's important global role as Africa's largest democracy and economy."

Yusuf Tuggar, the minister of foreign affairs, Wale Edun, the minister of finance and coordination of the economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, the minister of communications, innovation, and the digital economy, and Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the minister of industry, trade, and investment, were in attendance with Tinubu. According to reports, Tinubu met privately with the presidents of Germany, South Korea, and India.

Tinubu stressed to Olaf Scholz, the German captain, the value of not only concentrating on setting up a financial foundation for a larger economic relationship.

According to Tinubu, the government is providing new incentives to entice major manufacturers like Volkswagen to establish a presence in the nation in an effort to spur economic growth.

The German Chancellor responded to Tinubu's proposal's economic emphasis by recognizing the shared benefits of a strengthening of business ties with Nigeria."Thank you, Mr. President, for this crucial discussion. Your market is distinctive, and our businesses have a background in Nigeria.We appreciate the measures you've implemented that are business-friendly. The German leader said, "I am glad to notify you of my wish to visit you in Nigeria in October, which would allow us to move forward with these plans.Following his departure from New Delhi, India, the President will meet with the leadership of the United Arab Emirates during a technical stopover in Abu Dhabi, the Emirati capital.
