BREAKING:Sanwo-Olu invites the DSS to participate in the investigation of Mohbad's killing.
The late musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was investigated by the Department of Security Services, according to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley at Marlian Records, passed away at the age of 27. Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, expressed condolences to the family and fans of Mohbad, who made a name for himself in the highly competitive industry. The state government has invited the DSS to join the investigation and use best-in-class technology to unearth the truth. The state government has pleaded with all those with vital information to assist the investigation process and urged the investigating team to guarantee the confidentiality and protection of all witnesses.
The management of Mohbad announced a candlelight procession and tribute night for the late artiste, expressing gratitude to fans and sympathizers for the outpouring of love and support. The management also expressed gratitude to those who organized events in their communities to honor and pay respect to Mohbad. The state government has appealed to the investigating team to guarantee the confidentiality and protection of all witnesses.
