Buhari passes over transition documents to Tinubu.
Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) presented the transition paperwork to President-elect Bola Tinubu on Thursday in Abuja.
Buhari also presented the baton of service to Tinubu, as well as the paperwork, at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja during the investiture of the National Honours of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger on Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima.
This is in accordance with Executive Order 14, which requires the transition committee to submit handover notes that include proposed policy direction for the future government, among other things.
