Charles Okocha reveals his personal life

Charles Okocha has revealed why he is staying single and has never been married despite having 2 kids. This interview comes after rumours surfaced that he might be thinking about settling down.

In his words, "The truth is I have never been married in my life and I am a happy man. You and I know what is going on these days, you see a couple married for a couple of years and next, they are divorced. People you see as role models are getting divorced and when you see them you are like what is going on? These are people you have been looking up to and now they are divorced, how then do you want me to get into this marriage thing?"

"People have been asking me that question and I have given them a positive answer, but they expected me to say that I will never get married. There are occasions in my life when sometimes I did not want to get married," Okocha said. "But now as things have changed, I am sure that some day I will tie the knot with someone special."

Married life is something many men dream of, and many wish to have one. But in the real sense, it does not mean much until you have started a family of your own. Having kids has been a blessing for most men as it tends to make him more responsible, stern and dedicated. These qualities are given to them by their children who need them more than they need their spouse. So while we may want to get married purely because of the joys that come with the relationship, marriage is what makes our lives complete.
