ELECTION 2023: INEC representatives yet to arrive Tinubu’s polling unit
At Polling Stations 085, Ward 3, Sunday Adigun, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, the presidential election has been delayed for All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu.
Polling Unit 085, Ward 3, Sunday Adigun, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, where Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, is located, has delayed the presidential election.
While INEC officials had not yet arrived at of 8:51 am, observers, police officers, and media had been seen on the scene.
Concerned by the INEC representatives' tardy arrival, Ikeja Local Government Chairman Mojid Balogun expressed his concern.
We're waiting for the election officials, he said, adding, "We've done our part and don't know why they're taking so long. I'm awaiting our candidate before heading to the voting booth.
Tinubu, who cast his ballot in unit 047 during the general election of 2019, is anticipated to cast his ballot in unit 085 of the ward.
According to a source, the polling place was altered due to the increase of voters.
