Ex CDS Irabor retires from service
General Lucky Irabor (ret. ), the former Chief of Defence Staff, has formally left the Nigerian Armed Forces.
At a ceremony held on Friday at the Mogadishu Cantonment, Asokoro, Abuja, he submitted his resignation.
The event was attended by former Chiefs of Defense as well as members of the Army, Navy, and Air Staff.
Irabor was named CDS in January 2021 and retired along with other members of the service on June 19 after President Bola Tinubu named new service chiefs.
