FAAN increases the airport toll at Abuja
The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport now charges a new toll rate, according to the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.
The new rate is expected to start on July 17 according to an announcement made on Thursday in Abuja and signed by the FAAN Management.
The management has announced a fare increase for cars from N200 to N300 and for buses and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) from N300 to N500. It stated that the truck (six tires) tariff would increase from N500 to N1,000 and that the trailer and container tariff would remain the same at N2,000.
The administration urged the general populace to be aware of the modification and its effective date.
In the statement, FAAN reaffirmed its dedication to the fundamental principles of everyone's safety, security, and comfort.
