Gov Election 2023: Poor turnout as INEC officials await the voters in Bauchi
On election day, staff members of the Independent National Electoral Commission arrived early at the Kofar Maigari Usman 024 polling place in the Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
But, due to the poor voter turnout, the officials are waiting for voters to show up to cast their ballots.
Only six votes had reportedly been cast as of the time this report was submitted.
Also, there were no more voters in the line, and the only staff still present at the voting place were party agents, election officials, and security personnel.
Election materials were delivered on time, and voting started when it was supposed to.
