I murdered my boss, his wife, and his son because they wouldn't raise my pay.
The cause for the heinous murder of Kehinde Fatinoye, an ex-CBN employee, his wife, Bukola Fatinoye, and their only child, Oreoluwa Fatinoye, on New Year's Day in Abeokuta, Ogun State, was revealed by Lekan Adekanbi, the suspected primary suspect in the case.

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested all suspects involved in the gruesome murder of a couple, Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye, and their son, Oreoluwa, in Abeokuta area of the state. The victims were killed on New Year's Day of 2023 at their residence after returning from Crossover service. The prime suspect, Lekan Adekanbi, who had been a driver to the couple since 2008, was arrested & paraded on Friday, February 10, alongside three others. He confessed to the crime, saying he arranged the killing because the couple refused to increase his salary and lend him money to buy a motorcycle. He also invited two other suspects, Ahmed Odetola and Waheed Adeniji, to join him to rob the couple.
