Obi leads Tinubu in Lagos
The candidate of Labour Party in last Saturday’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has taken a slight lead over Bola Tinubu, the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State in the results of 17 out of the 20 local government areas of the state declared so far. Tinubu is trailing Obi by a slim margin of 1,686 votes in 17 out of the 20 local governments’ results announced before the declaration of results was suspended early Monday morning. But Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State is leading Obi by the number of local governments won.
