Palmer: "I never wanted to leave Man City."

The English football player won the Treble with Pep Guardiola's team, but he left Man City to join Chelsea.

He mentioned that his goal had been to spend a year on loan, return, and be ready for the starting lineup.

"My thing was to never leave City," he declared. That was not my aim. My goal was to spend a year on loan, return, and be prepared for the starting lineup. However, they insisted that I stay or you would be sold; I could not go on loan.

Chelsea then gave me a call. I expressed my desire to visit Chelsea, and I'm thrilled to be here. I'm so happy that I chose to come here.
