Prior of the team's Thursday trip to Italy, THREE England stars have withdrawn.
Gareth Southgate named a 25-man squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers on Thursday, including the likes of Ivan Toney and Kyle Walker.
However, the Three Lions have verified that Nick Pope, Mason Mount, and Marcus Rashford did not join the team today.
Fraser Forster of Tottenham has taken Pope's place as the injured goalie.
Forster has appeared in six England matches, beginning in 2013 and concluding in 2016.
He did not play when he was last at the camp in March 2022, his first call-up in five years.
Hugo Lloris is now Hugo Forster's replacement at Tottenham.
Rashford and Mount haven't had any takers, though.
The Manchester United striker left the team after leaving the FA Cup victory over Fulham on Sunday with a minor injury.
Furthermore, Rashford has been in outstanding form since the World Cup, so the news is disappointing for Southgate.
