Sevilla eliminates Man United from the Europa League.

After scoring two own goals in the first leg, Erik ten Hag's team continuously shot themselves in the foot and was outplayed by the record-breaking six-time winners.
Youssef En-Nesyri seized on Harry Maguire's giveaway on the edge of his own area to break the tie early on after he had already experienced one of those disastrous moments.

Jose Luis Mendilibar's team earned their lead, which they skillfully guarded. Loic Bade headed in the second from a corner in the opening minute of the second half.

After United goalkeeper David de Gea mishit a clearing while outside of his area, En-Nesyri slid the ball home for his second goal into an empty net.

En-Nesyri told Movistar after his brace, "The truth is I'm very happy for the two goals and because of the fans - I've never seen an atmosphere like this in my life."

"That should always be the case. If we work together, we can achieve much. I want to thank the staff and my teammates.

The Old Lady defeated Sporting Lisbon 2-1 on the road to get to the semifinals, where Sevilla will play Italian powerhouse Juventus.

It is evident that when we commit such errors, winning a football game is exceedingly challenging. We need to improve. That is a request, according to United coach Ten Hag.

Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw, who were both recovering from injuries, were also on the bench as Ten Hag on the field.

Sevilla launched themselves into the game with incredible gusto and were quickly rewarded by Maguire with the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan rocking.

Due to the injuries to Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, Ten Hag was forced to start the Englishman at center back with Victor Lindelof.

Maguire appeared unconcerned by the three Sevilla players buzzing around him as he rolled the ball back to Spanish goalkeeper De Gea and called to receive it again from the goalie.

Former Tottenham winger Erik Lamela intercepted the ball as Maguire attempted to pass it, and En-Nesyri grabbed control of the play to beat De Gea at his near post. While Bruno Fernandes was out on suspension, United made few noteworthy attempts to respond.

When Lucas Ocampos rammed home to energize the Pizjuan once more, Sevilla believed they had scored a second goal, but VAR revealed a narrow offside on Marcos Acuna in the build-up.

A second goal would not have been flattering to the hosts or their supporters, who appeared to be more adept at winning the Europa League than their local counterparts, who are currently fighting relegation.
