The future of Manchester United star Scott McTominay is uncertain, thus Newcastle is planning to make another deal this summer.
According to rumors, NEWCASTLE is poised to make another attempt to recruit Scott McTominay, a midfielder for Manchester United.
In January, the Magpies started pursuing a transfer for the 26-year-old, but nothing came of it. Eddie Howe is still eager to persuade him to St James' Park this summer despite the setback.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, asserts that McTominay is still a top priority target.
The midfielder has played 32 times for Manchester United so far this year, with the majority of those appearances coming as a substitute.
After the acquisition of Casemiro at Old Trafford in recent months, McTominay has slipped down the pecking order. Additionally, he is rumored to be open to relocating in order to increase his playing time.
The Red Devils, though, might be hesitant to trade him to a top-four opponent.
They might instead decide to let his contract, which expires in June 2025, lapse. McTominay joined Manchester United when he was five years old. He enrolled in the club's academy in 2002, progressed through the ranks, and, eleven years later, signed his first professional contract.
He made his Premier League debut in 2017, and since then, he has played 202 times for the Red Devils' main squad.
One of the seven first team players who could depart Old Trafford this summer is McTominay.
Other players who might leave at the end of the season include Aaron Wan-Bissaka, David De Gea, Harry Maguire, and Anthony Martial.
