Tiwa Savage, others to perform at King Charles III’s coronation party
Tiwa Savage, a singer and songwriter of Nigerian descent, is one of the artists slated to perform at the King Charles II Coronation Concert on Sunday, May 7.
According to BBC Pidgin the concert is slated to take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle in front of 20,000 spectators.
The BBC's radio and television stations will webcast the concert.
According to BBC Pidgin, the Grammy-winning R&B, pop, and hip-hop singer said it was an honor to represent Africa and the Commonwealth at such a momentous event.
The concert is also slated to feature performances from Paloma Faith, Steve Winwood, Lang Lang, Nicole Scherzinger, and more artists.
The BBC has revealed that Tom Cruise, Dame Joan Collins, and Disney Winnie will all perform at the performance.
Take That, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings, Alexis French, and one cooperation of five Royal patronages are just a few of the artists that will perform.
