Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea has been 'offered a Champions League transfer' following the Blues' January departure.

The Chelsea midfielder has not played a single game this season due to a thigh injury.Chalobah, 24, might be the next Englishman to leave the Premier League for Germany.

Dortmund have made a name for themselves by bringing in young English players such as Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.

The German club was interested in signing Southampton defender Armel Bella Kotchap in the summer but decided not to take a "risk" by doing so.

According to the news outlet BILD, the club is interested in signing Chalobah. 

According to the report, Dortmund has "set its sights" on the Chelsea star during the winter transfer window.

In addition, Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea has chosen to cash in on the defender and sell him during the transfer window.

He noted in his CaughtOffside column that the decision to transfer Chalobah on is "100% confirmed."

Despite not participating this season, his departure will force the Blues to hunt for a successor.
