Brymo blasts Peter Okoye for disparaging Seun Kuti by saying, "You belong to your sponsors"
The statement Peter Okoye made on Seun Kuti has been addressed by alternative artist Brymo.
Brymo, a singer, responded on social media to a comment made by Peter, one-half of the well-known duet P-Square, in response to a statement made by Kuti.
Prior to the 2023 presidential elections, Kuti called Peter Obi an opportunist in an interview, prompting Okoye to respond in a forceful manner.
Okoye poked fun at Kuti in one of the replies and alluded to his father.
Peter observed that in contrast to Kuti, who is making money off his father's reputation, his father built a name for himself while being a nothing. "My late father was unknown, but now everyone is familiar with the OKOYES! Try to make me know that you don't have the word "KUTI" in your name, dude! Continue to worship in that place while others and individuals like us succeed globally, he wrote.
After Okoye made a comment about his own father and how he was a self-made man, Brymo called him out.
"Bros.. you never delete?" he wrote.
Because it seems that you are self-made and he is famous by inheritance, do you intend to preserve this post for your father? I assume that is your point. This denigrates your accomplishments; it's really self-serving; I doubt you own your successes; you probably owe them to your sponsors.
