Deputy governor of Edo is invited by FIFA to the Best Football Awards event.
The International Federation of Association Football has sent an invitation to Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, to attend the Best FIFA Football Awards, an annual celebration of football's biggest stars.
Shuaibu, a sports enthusiast, received the invitation and international recognition as a result of his efforts to the growth of sports in Edo State.
On February 27, the awards will be presented at Salle Pleyel in Paris.
"Dear Mr. Shaibu, It is our pleasure to invite you to the annual celebration of football's greatest talents, the Best FIFA Football AwardsTM, which will take place at Salle Pleyel in Paris on February 27, 2023," said the letter of invitation that FIFA Guest Operations issued to Shaibu.
"On this occasion, we pay tribute to the best players, coaches, and supporters who captivated us over the course of the previous season with their breathtaking prowess and dramatic moments.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM left us with a wealth of experiences and demonstrated that football is a truly global sport, so this year's ceremony will have extra significance. The biggest football stars will be present for this event, which will award the top players in yet another fantastic season.
