Jose Mourinho faces massive ban
JOSE MOURINHO fears a lengthy Uefa ban following a car park ambush on referee Anthony Taylor following Roma's Europa League Final loss to Sevilla.
Mourinho, a former Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur manager, called Taylor a "f***ing disgrace" during the match.
He also accused Uefa refs chief Roberto Rosetti of being part in what he perceived to be a conspiracy against his team.
Mourinho is sure to be dragged over the coals by Nyon disciplinary chiefs, with Taylor anticipated to reference the altercation - which was captured in a video that went viral on social media and global websites - in his official report.
The Portuguese were already in deep trouble after his comments in the post-match press conference, in which he impliedly accused Taylor and his teammates of bias because they "seemed Spanish."
Those remarks were already expected to be included in the official Uefa match delegate's report and would most likely result in a brief ban.
However, the subsequent brawl, ignited when Mourinho, waiting outside the Roma team coach, noticed Taylor, fourth official Michael Oliver, and the rest of the officiating squad heading for their getaway mini-bus, will result in a significant investigation.
Mourinho blasted them as soon as he saw them, saying, "What a disgrace. What a shambles. You are a f***ing scumbag! You have no shame."
Rosetti then attempted to intervene and calm Mourinho down by hugging him, only to receive an earful himself.
Mourinho dismissed the Swiss-Italian, saying, "You were in agreement with them."
