Mason Greenwood receives a $8,500 luxury villa and a translator as part of Man Utd's financial support for his new beginning in Spain.

After a six-month internal inquiry into rape and assault allegations that were later dismissed, United announced last month that he would no longer play for the team.

The Red Devils had suspended Greenwood, 21, ever since his arrest in January 2022.

The Old Trafford organization, though, is still very much involved and worked around the clock to put together a customized care package before to his deadline day transfer to the Madrid-based club.

It includes access to a private interpreter around-the-clock and an £8,000 a month, six-bedroom city house close to the practice facility of his new club.

Regular flights will be made to bring him the company of family and friends. The likelihood is that he will move home with his father, Andrew, 53, who monitored his private training sessions while United chose his future.

Greenwood has confided in friends that he is determined to score a ton of goals in return for the trust placed in him and that he hasn't given up for a Red Devils comeback.

He's going on loan, but he's still a United player, a source stated.

It indicates that the club owes him continued care and has promised to support him in making the most of his transfer to Spain.

The villa is spacious enough to accommodate guests and family. They will have the chance to visit him as often as they can by traveling.

"It's critical that he has a strong support system around him. They absolutely do not want Mason to be alone.

According to reports, United would cover more than half of his £75k weekly salary while he is in Spain.

Greenwood is ready to go, according to a different source. He's pleased to have a club in LaLiga and can now start to put the previous two years behind him, they continued.

"He wants to focus on football and improving his performance both on and off the field. He is eager to compete against Real Madrid and Barcelona. He'll demonstrate to everyone how he has evolved and transformed. He is aware that the journey will be lengthy, but it begins today.

The move, according to Erik ten Hag's club, will "enable Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from United," according to a statement.

The statement promised that "the club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition."

United suspended Greenwood, who has one England cap, following his arrest for sexual assault.

He was then charged with attempted rape and sexual assault, but the prosecution of him was dropped in February.

United announced that he would continue to be suspended with pay while an internal investigation into his alleged behavior was being done.

After five months of heated debate and a significant pushback against attempts to reintegrate him, it was decided to call it quits.

The club stated in a statement that it did not think Greenwood had committed the offenses for which he was charged and that the charges did not provide "the full picture." They did, however, acknowledge that the striker had "made mistakes" and had to take accountability.

In addition, United stated, "We have always taken into consideration the wishes of the alleged victim as well as the club's standards and values."

The statement concluded, "it has been mutually agreed" that Greenwood would locate a new club.

Richard Arnold, CEO of Old Trafford, however, stated that United would keep providing the player and his claimed victim with support in order to help them "rebuild and move forward."

In order to become "a good father, a better person, and to use my talents in a positive way on and off the pitch," Greenwood, a father of a newborn girl since July, acknowledged he needed to set a better example.
