Tielemans is among the three talents that Leicester is about to lose for FREE, but they'll give Newcastle and Tottenham James Maddison instead.

Youri Tielemans, a 25-year-old midfielder for Belgium, has been linked to numerous teams for months.
As Leicester is not anticipated to reach an agreement on a new term, he will now become a free agent at the end of the current campaign.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in the 2021 FA Cup winner and may make a move.

And when their respective contracts expire, Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu, 26, and Spanish midfielder Ayoze Perez, 29, are also expected to go away empty-handed.

The Foxes are allegedly "intensifying contract discussions with James Maddison," according to The Telegraph, in an effort to hold onto their talisman.

With nine goals and four assists in the Premier League this season, the playmaker, who is 26 years old, has drawn the attention of Newcastle and Tottenham.

Last summer, the Magpies submitted two proposals for £40 million and £45 million, but both were turned down.

Since that time, Maddison has enjoyed a strong season with the underachieving Foxes and been selected for Gareth Southgate's England World Cup team.

But this most recent update states that Leicester "had reopened negotiations over a long-term extension in the past 48 hours." He is currently in the final 18 months of his deal.

Ben Chilwell, Riyad Mahrez, and Harry Maguire are just a few of the notable players that the Foxes have lost in recent years due to exorbitant transfer costs.

But they are adamant to keep Madison and reassemble their squad around him.

We believe James is in his best position right now, manager Brendan Rodgers stated following Saturday's 4-1 victory against Tottenham.

He's performed admirably for me over the past 12 to 14 months while playing on the right side out of position.

"You can understand why he's one of the league's top players; you can see his qualities. He is a fantastic player and has improved as a leader.
