Enioluwa mesmerizes audience with reimagined rendition of legendary Obasanjo shot from 1977
Obasanjo is shown in the White House in the original image, which was taken during the Carter administration. On Friday, May 5, 2023, Nigerian social media star Adeoluwa Enioluwa posted his own take on a well-known photograph from 1977 that included former US President Jimmy Carter and Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The image was reproduced by Enioluwa, who wore a blue Yoruba aso-oke and referred to himself as a king in the post.
It's important to note that Enioluwa did not snap his picture at the White House or with a current or former US president. Obasanjo is shown in the White House in the original image, which was taken during the Carter administration.
Oba ni wa. Obasanjo in 1977, and Eni in 2023, "because we would forever be Kings," were the captions he used.
Chief Obasanjo, GCFR, is a prestigious statesman and military veteran from Nigeria. From 1976 to 1979, he presided as Nigeria's head of state. From 1999 to 2007, he was the country's president. His political philosophy is one of Nigerian nationalism, and from 1998 to 2015 and again in 2018, he was a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
