UK establishes a temporary visa application center in Enugu
The creation of a new temporary submission center for United Kingdom visas in Enugu State has been announced by the British High Commission in Nigeria.
The declaration was made in a statement that our journalist had access to on Monday.
The center would open on September 13, 2023, in addition to its current locations in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt, according to the commission.
The facility will soon provide a twice-weekly service and be based out of the Omedel Luxury Hotel, 4/6 Link Road off Pascal and Jerk Bus Stop, Independence Layout, Enugu.
"The appointment system allows an applicant to choose Enugu as their application location when applying for a UK visa," the announcement added.
The Enugu temporary submission center will cost NGN246,250.00, which includes a Premium Lounge appointment, courier return, SMS notifications, general client assistance, and guidance.
"Demand for visa services will be carefully monitored, and should there be adequate quantities, service will be reviewed/expanded. TLS will conduct a minimum 3-month trial at this site to gauge demand for the service and enable choices about whether to continue.
